In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
2184 (Relating to the regulation of the practice of engineering;
providing penalties.) this office has determined the following:

This bill rededicates the Professional Engineers Fund 056 for
purposes outlined in the Board of Registration for Professional
Engineers enabling statute.

The bill also imposes administrative penalties for violations of
the Texas Engineering Practice Act.

The probable fiscal implication of implementing the provisions of
the bill during each of the first  five years following passage
is estimated as follows:

provisions of the bill are in effect.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
