LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 74th Regular Session April 4, 1995 TO: Honorable Ron Wilson, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 2200 Committee on Licensing & By: Yarbrough Administrative Procedures House of Representatives Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No. 2200 (Relating to the exemption of certain training programs for plumbers from the regulations applicable to proprietary schools.) this office has determined the following: The bill would add to the definition of proprietary school, a course or courses of instruction by bona fide plumbing trade associations for the purpose of preparing students for plumbing tests and programs required for licensing, certification, or endorsement and for the purpose of providing continuing education programs approved by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
