In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
2219 (Relating to establishing the Center for Ports and
Waterways) this office has determined the following:

The bill would establish the Center for Ports and Waterways
within the Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A. & M.
University. The Center would be funded from private and busiess
sources and would not draw upon public funds. Therefore,

No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
