In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
2274 (Relating to the release or transfer of a dead human body
from one funeral establishment to another funeral establishment.)
this office has determined the following:

This bill permits a funeral establishment which has been
authorized to perform services on a deceased person to withhold
the body from a third person or agent until compensation is
received for their services.


No fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
