In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
2289 (relating to the representation of certain indigent persons
by public defenders in Wichita County) this office has determined
the following:

The bill would expand the representation by the Wichita County
public defenders office to include mental health cases.


No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
