LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 74th Regular Session April 17, 1995 TO: Honorable Hugo Berlanga, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 2352 Committee on Public Health By: Harris, Jack House of Representatives Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No. 2352 (Relating to certain licensing requirements applicable to persons providing services in the production of a motion picture or other film image.) this office has determined the following: The bill would exempt from the provisions of the Cosmetology Regulatory Act a person who performs services, or who owns, operates, or manages a location where the services are performed for the primary purpose of enabling or assisting the recipient of the services in being the subject of a motion picture or film image. The Texas Cosmetology Commission anticipates that there would be no direct fiscal implications to the Commission, other than minor programming changes, as a result of this bill.
