In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
2811 (Relating to group hospital and medical services fees and
services at component institutions of The Texas A&M University
System.) this office has determined the following:

The bill would increase the student fee for compulsory group
hospital and medical services and require increases in the fee of
more than 10 percent to be approved by a majority vote of the
students.  This bill would increase revenue collected locally by
the institution for these purposes; however, this revenue is not
subject to appropriation.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
