In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
3009 (Relating to the duty of nonprofit, tax-exempt hospitals to
provide charity care.) this office has determined the following:

The bill would modify certain points in existing law regarding
the provision of charity care by nonprofit, tax-exempt hospitals.


No significant fiscal implication to the State or units of local
government is anticipated.
