In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
3166 (Relating to contracts between the Midland County Hospital
District and a medical school.) this office has determined the
following:

This bill would allow the Midland County Hospital District to
contract with a public medical school for the improvement and
equipping of hospital facilities as necessary to support a
surgical residency program.  The medical school could enter into
such an agreement and expend appropriated funds for that purpose.




No significant fiscal implication to the State or units of local
government is anticipated.
