In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Bill No.
3169 (Relating to the statutory county courts in Grayson County.)
this office has determined the following:

The bill would expand the jurisdiction of statutory county courts
of law in Grayson County and would allow the commissioners court
to set the salaries for judges of county courts of law in Grayson
County at an amount that is at least equal to $75,000. 

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Grayson County anticipates an increase of approximately $18,500
for the salary and benefits for the two county court of law
judges.

No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
