FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on House Joint
Resolution No. 98 (proposing a constitutional amendment relating
to centralizing loan and loan guarantee programs of the state)
this office has determined the following:

The resolution proposes a constitutional amendment which, if
adopted, would authorize the Legislature to provide for a
centralized agency for loan and loan guarantee programs of the
State. Fiscal implications would be dependent upon
implementation of House Bill 2490 or similar legislation.

The fiscal implication to the State cannot be determined.

The cost to the State for publication of the resolution is
$90,000.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
