In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
11 (Relating to the transfer of Texas A&M International
University from The Texas A&M University System to The University
of Texas System and to changing the name of that university.)
this office has determined the following:

This bill would transfer Texas A&M International University from
the Texas A&M University System to The University of Texas
System.  In addition, the bill would change the name of the
university from Texas A&M International University to The
University of Texas--International.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
