In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
316 (Relating to the statutory county courts in Cameron County.)
this office has determined the following:

The bill would create a statutory county court of law in Cameron
County.


No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Comptroller of Public Accounts estimates indicate that the bill
could increase the fiscal liability of Cameron County by
approximately $426,000 the first year and $346,000 annually
thereafter.
