Montford, Chair IN RE: Senate Bill No. 410 Committee on Finance By: Montford Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No. 410 (Relating to the delay of certain payments or transfers from the general revenue fund.) this office has determined the following: The bill would delay the following General Revenue Fund transfers or payments from fiscal year 1997 to fiscal year 1998: a) 1/24 of the 1996-97 biennial appropriation to the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation for the payment of cost of intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded; b) 5/48 of the appropriations to institutions of higher education and public junior colleges; c) two months of motor fuel allocations to the State Highway Fund.
