In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
410 (Relating to the delay of certain payments or transfers from
the general revenue fund.) this office has determined the
following:

The bill would delay the following General Revenue Fund transfers
or payments from fiscal year 1997 to fiscal year 1998:

a)  1/24 of the 1996-97 biennial appropriation to the Department
of Mental Health and Mental Retardation for the payment of cost
of intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded;

b)  5/48 of the appropriations to institutions of higher
education and public junior colleges;

c)  two months of motor fuel allocations to the State Highway
Fund.

The probable fiscal implication of implementing the provisions of
the bill during each of the first  five years following passage
is estimated as follows:
