LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 74th Regular Session April 27, 1995 TO: Honorable Judith Zaffirini, Chair IN RE: Senate BillNo. 476, Committee on Health & Human Services as amended Senate By: Luna Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No. 476 (relating to the regulation of the practice of naturopathic medicine; providing penalties) this office has determined the following: The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. The bill would provide for the licensing and regulation of naturopathic physicians. The Board of Health would adopt rules to provide for the administration of the regulatory program and the Texas Department of Health would administer the regulatory program.
