In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
493 (Relating to certain intoxication offenses; providing for the
enhancement of penalties.) this office has determined the
following:

The bill would amend the Penal Code by changing the conditions
for which the punishment for intoxication offenses may be
enhanced.


The fiscal implication to  the State or units of local government
cannot be determined.
