In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
585 (Relating to assistance by certain public institutions of
higher education relating to admissions, financial aid, and
testing) this office has determined the following:

The bill would require the governing board of each general
academic institution to establish an office which would provide
assistance to applicants, potential applicants, high school
guidance counselors, and others regarding admission, financial
aid, admission testing, and other matters related to admission or
enrollment at the institution.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
