In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
647 (Relating to the involvement of the Texas Department of
Licensing and Regulation in the regulation of water well pump
installers.) this office has determined the following:

The bill  amends Section 33.001, Water Code and removes
references to the Department of Licensing and Regulation
regarding the regulation of water well pump installers.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
