In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
831 (Relating to the lease of property by the Department of
Transportation to institutions of higher education.) this office
has determined the following:

The bill adds "institutions of higher education" to the purposes
for which the Department of Transportation may lease highway
assests below fair market value.

The fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
cannot be determined.
