In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
988 (Relating to state employee donations to sick leave pools.)
this office has determined the following:

The bill would allow state employees to donate an unlimited
amount of time to the agency sick leave pool.  The bill would
also allow a retiring state employee to designate the number of
hours of accrued sick leave to be used for retirement credit and
the number of hours to be donated on retirement to the sick leave
pool.




No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
