The bill would also provide various regulatory changes regarding the operation of package stores. Estimates are based on Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Annual Report data regarding the number of package stores permitted during fiscal year 1994. The probable fiscal implication of implementing the provisions of the bill during each of the first five years following passage is estimated as follows: Fiscal Probable Revenue Year Gain to General Revenue Fund 001 1996 $502,800 1997 502,800 1998 502,800 1999 502,800 2000 502,800 Similar annual fiscal implications would continue as long as the provisions of the bill are in effect.
