Montford, Chair IN RE: Senate BillNo. 1133 Committee on Finance By: West, Royce Senate Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No. 1133 (Relating to the requirement of advance approval for certain international travel.) this office has determined the following: The bill would repeal the statutory provision which requires advance written approval by the Governor in order to reimburse a state employee for international travel. Implementation of the provisions of the bill could result in savings to the State, however, these savings are not expected to be significant.
