LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas
FISCAL NOTE
74th Regular Session
April 26, 1995
TO: Honorable John T. Montford, Chair IN RE: Senate BillNo. 1133
Committee on Finance By: West, Royce
Senate
Austin, Texas
FROM: John Keel, Director
In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
1133 (Relating to the requirement of advance approval for certain
international travel.) this office has determined the following:
The bill would repeal the statutory provision which requires
advance written approval by the Governor in order to reimburse a
state employee for international travel. Implementation of the
provisions of the bill could result in savings to the State,
however, these savings are not expected to be significant.
No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
