In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
1185 (relating to inclusion of a psychologist on the medical
advisory committee appointed by the Texas Workers Compensation
Commission and the treatment of mental trauma injuries by a
psychologist under the Texas workers compensation system; and
declaring an emergency) this office has determined the following:

The bill would include the treatment of mental trauma by a
pyschologist under the workers compensation system.


No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
