In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
1217 (Relating to notification of certain interest holders and
owners of seized contraband in forfeiture proceedings; providing
that asset forfeiture is remedial in nature rather than
punitive.) this office has determined the following:

No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
