In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Bill No.
1320 (Relating to the Martin Luther King, Jr. statue fee at The
University of Texas at Austin.) this office has determined the
following:

The bill would authorize The University of Texas at Austin to
collect a local student fee of $1 per semester for the purpose of 
construction of a Martin Luther King, Jr. statue.  Since this is
a local fee, no fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.


No fiscal implication to the State or units of local government
is anticipated.
