LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 74th Regular Session March 1, 1995 TO: Honorable Senator Ken Armbrister, IN RE: Senate Joint Chair Resolution Committee on State Affairs No. 30 Senate By: West, Royce Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Joint Resolution No. 30 (Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to provide for the issuance of bonds to provide or guarantee surety bonds for historically underutilized businesses.) this office has determined the following: The Resolution proposes a constitutional amendment which, if adopted, would authorize the Legislature to provide for the issuance of $50,000,000 in general obligation bonds for the provision or guarantee of surety bonds for HUB's. Fiscal implications would be dependent upon enabling legislation such as SB 382 or similar legislation. The cost to the State for publication of the resolution is $90,000.
