In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on Senate Joint
Resolution No. 43 (Proposing a constitutional amendment relating
to garnishment of wages for court-ordered restitution in a
criminal judgment and court-ordered reimbursement to the state
for compensation to victims of crimes.) this office has
determined the following:

The fiscal implication to the State, other than the cost of
publication, cannot be determined.,

The cost to the State for publication of the resolution is
$90,000.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
