Rider for Article XI, Texas Department of Health
      Out of the funds appropriated above in Goal B: Medicaid
Services, appropriate $500,000 for fiscal year 1998 and $500,000
for fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of implementing the support
and information services for Medicaid recipients enrolled in
managed care plans as authorized under Section 531.021, Texas
Government Code.  It is the intent of the Legislature that, under
the auhtority of the Commissioner of Health and Human Services, the
Texas Department of Health shall implement this service.
