Amend the Bosse Floor Amendment to CSHB 4 by striking item
(4) of the amendment and substituting the following:
      (4)  On page 128, line 8, between "cents" and the period,
insert the following:
; plus
            (C)  any amount necessary to pay for maintenance and
operations expenses budgeted on January 1, 1997, to be paid from
general fund balances, computed in accordance with guidelines
adopted by the commissioner of education
