      Amend CSHB 4 as follows:
      In SECTION 1.02 of the bill, in proposed Section 42.152,
Education Code (page 22, between lines 13 and 14), insert new
subdivision (d) as follows:
      "(d)  As part of the accounting required under Subsection
(b), a district shall report to the agency and make publicly
available information showing the amount of compensatory education
funds expended for accelerated instruction and support programs
provided under Section 29.081 for students at risk of not
performing satisfactorily in a reading assessment instrument on
grade three under Subchapter B, Chapter 39."
