Amend floor amendment ____ by Hochberg to CSHB 4 by adding
the following:
      On page 116, amend Section 11.28, Tax Code, by adding a new
subsection (c) between lines 16 and 17 to read as follows:
      (c)  The abatement recognized under subsection (b) from the
state ad valorem tax imposed under Chapter 501 does not apply to
the extent an abatement is increased, extended or otherwise
modified on or after the effective date of this act in a manner
which decreases the amount of the state ad valorem tax.
