Amend CSHB 92 as follows:
      (1)  On page 8, between lines 20 and 21, insert the
following:
      (g)  Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, a
municipality or county or an entity acting in conjunction with a
municipality or county may not contract before January 1, 2008,
with a professional sports team for the team to relocate and play
at any approved venue project in the municipality or county if the
team is located and playing in a different municipality or county
in this state on January 1, 1997.
      (2)  On page 42, between lines 11 and 12, insert the
following:
      (g)  Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, a
district may not contract before January 1, 2008, with a
professional sports team for the team to relocate and play at any
approved venue project in the district if the team is located and
playing in this state on January 1, 1997, at a municipality or
county that is not in district.
