Amend HB 259 as follows:
      (1)  on page 8, line 7, insert "or state" between "defendant"
and "must";
      (2)  on page 8, line 19, insert "or state" between
"defendant" and "shall";
      (3)  on page 9, line 15, strike "defendant" and substitute in
lieu thereof "appellant";
      (4)  on page 9, line 26, strike "defendant or the
defendant's" and substitute in lieu thereof "appellant or
appellant's";
      (5)  on page 10, line 20, strike "defendant or the
defendant's" and substitute in lieu thereof "appellant or
appellant's";
      (6)  on page 10, line 22, strike "city attorney or an
assistant or deputy city" and substitute in lieu thereof "appellee
or appellee's"; and,
      (7)  on page 10, line 23, strike "city attorney or an
assistant or deputy city" and substitute in lieu thereof "appellee
or appellee's";
