Amend CSHB 588 as follows:
      1)  On page 1, line 23, after "class" insert "or any other
Texas student with a standardized test score in the top 10 percent
of the state for the year in which the applicant took the test".
      2)  On page 2, line 25, after "class" insert "or any other
Texas student with a standardized test score in the top 25 percent
of the state for the year in which the applicant took the test".
