Amend HB 1386 as follows:
      (1)  On page 4, lines 25 and 26, strike "the next highest
officer of the board, who shall notify".
      (2)  On page 9, line 5, immediately after the period, add the
following:
      "This subsection does not affect the provisions of Section
2001.223, Government Code, exempting hearings and interviews
conducted by the board or the division from Section 2001.038 and
Subchapters C-H, Chapter 2001, Government Code."
