Amend HB 2273, Section 3, on page 2, line 27, and page 3,
lines 1 through 7, to read as follows:
      Sec. 51.604.  JURY FEE.  (a)  The district clerk shall
collect a $30 <$20> jury fee for each civil case <in district
court> in which a person applies for a jury trial.  The clerk of a
county court or statutory county court shall collect a $22 <$17>
jury fee for each civil case <in those courts> in which a person
applies for a jury trial.  The clerk shall note the payment of the
fee on the court's docket.
