Amend HB 2324 as follows:
      (1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section 497.006,
Government Code, strike  the first sentence in the section and
substitute the following:
"To encourage the development and expansion of <the> prison
industries <program>, the prison industries office may enter into
necessary  contracts related to the prison industries program."
      (2)  Strike SECTION 2 of the bill and renumber existing
SECTIONS accordingly.
