Amend CSHB 2542 by adding  the following appropriately
numbered Section  and renumbering the remaining section of the bill
accordingly:
      SECTION ____.  Section 46.002, Parks and Wildlife Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
      (c)  In addition to the exemptions provided by Subsection
(a)(1), a resident who is 70 years of age or older is not required
to have a fishing license under this chapter while the person:
            (1)  is fishing on property owned by the person or is
fishing in the county of the person's primary residence or a county
adjacent to that county; and
            (2)  is not fishing from a motorboat in coastal waters.
