Amend HB 2577 as follows:
      1)  DELETE SECTION 5, Sec. 2306.004 Government Code, Number
(7) (On page 5, lines 19-21); and substitute the following:
      (7)  "Elderly individual" means an individual 60 years of age
or older.
      2)  ADD subsection (c) to:  SECTION 47, Section 2306.678
(page 66, (b) after line 5).  To read as follows:
      (c)  The department shall waive grant application fees for
non-profits that offer expanded services such as child care,
nutrition programs, job training assistance, health services, or
human services.
