Amend CSSB 1 by adding a new SECTION to bill, appropriately
numbered, to read as follows:
      SECTION ____.  Section 5.235, Water Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (o) to read as follows:
      (o)  A fee imposed under Subsection (j) for the use of saline
water for industrial processes may not exceed $1 per acre-foot of
water actually consumed in the industrial process.
