Amend SB 353 to read as follows:
      (1)  On page 4, line 15, add a new SECTION 6 to read as
follows:
      "SECTION 6.  Section 431.027, Government Code, is amended to
read as follows:
      Sec. 431.027.  SALARIES.  The adjutant general and each
assistant adjutant general are entitled to salaries commensurate
with the pay grade of an officer of equivalent rank under 37 U.S.C.
Section 201(a) <in the amounts designated in a line item in the
General Appropriations Act>."
      (2)  Renumber SECTIONS accordingly.
