Amend CSSB 370 by adding new Section 1.07, and renumbering
other sections in Article 1 accordingly:
      SECTION 1.07.  Section 201.301(a), Transportation Code, is
amended to read as follows:
      (a)  The commission shall employ <elect> an executive director
for the department. The director may <must> be a registered
professional engineer in this state and must have demonstrated
executive and organizational ability <experienced and skilled in
transportation planning, development, construction and maintenance>.
