Amend CSSB 370 in Article 1 of the bill by adding a new
appropriately numbered section to read as follows and by
renumbering the remaining sections as appropriate:
      SECTION 1.____.  Subchapter H, Chapter 201, Transportation
Code, is amended by adding Section 201.611 to read as follows:
      Sec. 201.611.  COORDINATION OF FLOOD CONTROL.  In the
construction of its highway projects, the department shall by rule
adopt policies and procedures to minimize the impact of flooding.
The rules must include provisions for coordination with local flood
control authorities.
