Amend CSSB 935 as follows:
      (1)  In Section 335.072(b), Local Government Code, as added
by SECTION 1 of the bill (committee printing, page 13, lines 4-8),
strike Subdivisions (1)-(3) and substitute the following:
            (1)  the proceeds from any tax imposed by the district;
            (2)  all revenue from the sale of bonds or other
obligations by the district;
            (3)  money received under Section 335.075  from a
municipality that created the district; and
            (4)  any other money required by law to be deposited in
the fund.
      (2)  In Subchapter E, Chapter 335, Local Government Code, as
added by SECTION 1 of the bill (committee printing, page 13,
between lines 60 and  61), insert a new Section 335.075 to read as
follows:
      Sec. 335.075.  DEDICATION OR GRANT OF CERTAIN REVENUE BY
CREATING MUNICIPALITY. (a)  A municipality  that created the
district may contribute  or dedicate to the district municipal
sales and use tax revenue received by the municipality that is
generated, paid, or collected by any or all businesses operating in
an approved community venue project.
      (b)  The municipality may contribute or dedicate money under
this section only if the municipality determines that the approved
community venue project from which the revenue was derived will
contribute to the economic, cultural, or recreational development
or well-being of the residents of the municipality.
