state funds unless the deduction is authorized by law. Several statutory
provisions authorize certain payroll deductions, except for parking
expenses. This bill authorizes institutions of higher education to provide
for voluntary deduction from an employee's salary or wage payment for the
payment of parking fees or for the purchase of a parking permit.
