DIGEST

Currently, the University of North Texas is prohibited from raising its
medical services fee beyond $25 for each semester of the regular term and
$12.50 for each six-week or shorter term of its summer session. This bill
would raise those caps to $50 and $25, respectively In addition, C.S.S.B.

University of Texas System.

PURPOSE

As proposed, C.S.S.B. 926 authorizes the governing board of the University
of North Texas to increase the medical services fees it charges the
students of the university to certain levels.
