DIGEST

The Texas DeMolay Association is an organization for young men between the
ages of 13 years and 20 years of age. For the past 20 years Texas DeMolay
has had the privilege of holding its mock legislative sessions in the

the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of how our government works
at the historical setting of the State Capitol.

PURPOSE

As proposed, S.C.R. 4 submits the following resolution:

Grants the Texas DeMolay Association permission to use the chambers of
the Senate and the House of Representatives in the State Capitol on
February 15 and 16, 1997, and February 21 and 22, 1998, for its
legislative seminar, unless the Texas Senate and Texas House of
Representatives are in session on those dates.
