Committee Report (Substituted)

DIGEST

Currently, the Allens Creek Reservoir Site consists of 9,424 acres in
Austin County, Texas. The Texas Water Plan and the Trans-Texas Program
have identified the site as one of the few sites viable for a reservoir.
Studies indicate that the Allens Creek project will help serve the state's
future water use.

PURPOSE

As proposed, C.S.S.C.R. 77 submits the following resolution:

Provides that the 75th Legislature of the State of Texas recommend that if
funding for the state participation program or other programs allowing

site is to be ranked as a high priority by the Texas Water Development
Board.

Provides that a copy of this resolution be prepared for the Texas Water
Development Board.
