1-1 AN ACT 1-2 relating to the dating of state publications. 1-3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-4 SECTION 1. Section 441.103, Government Code, is amended by 1-5 adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: 1-6 (e) Each state publication shall clearly reflect the date 1-7 that the state publication is produced or initially distributed by 1-8 a state agency in a conspicuous location at or near the beginning 1-9 of the publication. 1-10 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1997. 1-11 SECTION 3. The importance of this legislation and the 1-12 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an 1-13 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the 1-14 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several 1-15 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended. _______________________________ _______________________________ President of the Senate Speaker of the House I certify that H.B.
