Rule 12, Section 1(a)(1)(A) was suspended for the committee report

         on H.B. 1845.  Therefore, the text of the bill was not printed.

         Attached for your information is the amendment/amendments.

 1-1                          COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO. 1

 1-2           Amend H.B. No. 1845 as follows:

 1-3           (1)  In Section 6.04 of the bill (Introduced version, page

 1-4     72, line 17), strike "6.04-6.83" and substitute "6.05-6.84".

 1-5           (2)  In Section 30.19(d) of the bill, strike amended

 1-6     Subsection (b) and added Subsection (c), Section 361.282,

 1-7     Transportation Code (Introduced version, page 628, lines 3-10), and

 1-8     substitute the following:

 1-9           "(b)  The authority, the commission, and the governor must

1-10     approve the transfer of the turnpike project as being in the best

1-11     interests of the state and the entity receiving the turnpike

1-12     project [county]."

1-13           (3)  In Section 30.26(a) of the bill, proposed Section

1-14     451.3015(b), Transportation Code (Introduced version, page 639,

1-15     line 2), strike "After August 31, 1996, at" and substitute "At

1-16     [After August 31, 1996, at]".

1-17           (4)  In Section 30.26(a) of the bill, strike proposed Section

1-19     lines 5-8).
